Sicily’s Book Corner

As you can probably guess, Sicily’s Book Corner is about book reviews. I will be reviewing books that I like and find interesting. Most of the book reviews are going to be about fantasy books, although every once in a while I might throw in a Sci-fi book or a realistic fiction book.

The Traitors Son, (Path Of The Rangers Book 1)

Author: Pedro Urvi

4.3 stars out of 5. I think the book definitely deserves the 4.3 star rating. It was a very good fantasy book and was very enjoyable to read. There was a good amount of action and a very good plot. The characters were also very interesting because they had all had good backstories and motivations.

Savage, (The Dragon Rider Legacy Book 1)

Author: Nicole Conway

4.7 stars out of 5. I think that this is a very good book and I think it definitely deserves the rating it got. The book is pretty unique and its story is not something you read about every day. I like how in the book the main character has demon-like powers instead of what you would expect the powers of a main character to be, like healing and life. There are also very good plot twists.

The Player Blackout, (A Superhero LitRPG Adventure: Capes Online Book 1)

Author: Lucas Flint

3.8 stars out of 5. I think that the book should have at least a 4-star rating. The book has an adult main character but the adult gets his mind uploaded onto a video game. Normally a book like this would have a younger main character due to the whole video game thing. I can see people not trying this book out because they don’t think that adults and video games will mix well, but I can assure you that’s not the case, the author did a wonderful job of creating a world where it seems normal for adults to be the ones who play video games. In fact, most of the people playing Capes Online (The video game) are adults.

The Lightning Thief, (Percy Jackson And The Olympians Book 1)

Author: Rick Riordan

4.7 stars out of 5. I think that this book definitely deserves this rating. This book not only sets up the rest of the series brilliantly, but this book also teaches you Greek mythology. It has good humor and likable characters. You don’t even realize that you’re learning Greek mythology because it’s just a natural part of the story. I think that if you give this book a try you will like it. Not to mention the rest of the series is great as well!
