Chapter 5
Never knew myself
He splashes in and doesn’t see them anywhere. But he sees water heading backwards in one direction. He swims over. He sees Marina glowing a bright white. Ice King can barely look at it. But he felt like he was being moved towards Marina. It was like the water was moving him. He noticed Daruias standing there.
He swam over to him and Ice King said “What’s going on?” Daruias launched back and summoned a sword at Ice King’s neck. Daruias couldn’t speak or he would run out of breath. But then, Ice King didn’t see the light from Marina anymore. He looked over and saw That Marina had become a sea creature. She was light purple with clumps of coral on her joints and forehead. She also had a tail which was wrapped around her legs.
She unwrapped her tail from her legs like a slithery snake. She opened her eyes and looked at them with a twinkle in her eye like nothing had happened. She said, “Hi guys, why are you looking at me like you have seen a ghost, I only fell in the wa-wa achoo.”
Her hands shot light out and it hit Ice King and Daruias. Ice King felt his arm changing and soon enough his arm was turned into the same creature as Marina. And soon enough he was the same creature as Marina but dark blue and ice instead of coral. It felt like he was covered in fish.
He looked at Daruias but he already shifted into the sea creature as well. Daruias looks at me with worry. We both look at Marina and she looks at us with absolute fear. “What Did you do to my FRIENDS!” Marina says as she makes vortexes on her hands.
Daruias says, “MARINA!” STOP!”
She looks at Daruias with surprise she floats towards him and says “Daruias, is that You?”
He grabs her hands and says “ Yes my princess, it”s me”
Marina leans in and whispers in Daruias’s ear but then he jumps back and screams “NO! We are in a serious situation we are not going to EXPLORE!”
“Daruias PLEASE, this is a once and an lifetime experience, would you want to waste this chance?”
“What, the chance to be an ugly sea monster?” says Daruias.
“NO! The chance to explore the deep without needing to breathe” says Marina.
Ice King says, “Well, she has a point.”
Daruias yells back” NO ONE ASKED ICE KING! Okay Mar….ina. You’ve got to be joking.” he looks into the fields of coral. Which has Marina swimming away. Daruias clenches his fists and blasts towards her.
“Jeez, he’s fast…..but I am faster” says Ice King. He blasts forward as well. Soon, daruias catches up with Marina but then Ice King blocks Daruias with his sword, but Daruias blocks with his greatsword. Then Ice King whispers to Marina, “Keep going.”
Daruias jumps at Marina and says “WAIT!” But Ice King grabs his ankle and throws him back making all the coral fall on Daruias. He slices the coral apart and floats up and says “ Am about done with you old man.”
Ice King replies “ I might be old but, am stronger!” Ice King summons a giant ice wall but Daruias lunges at it. But then a giant ice hand flicks Daruias away. then Ice King turns the wall and hand into a giant sword. He swings at Daruias but Daruias closes his eyes but feels nothing he opens his eyes to find Ice King in front of him with two fingers pointing at him. Ice King uses those fingers to poke Daruias forehead. He says “Checkmate.” with a smile
Daruias clenches his fist and floats up. They float in the direction of where Marina went. And see her in a field of coral. we swim over and she jumps a little but then takes a deep breath. She says” Daruias! You brute, you shouldn’t mess with an Elemental like Ice King.”
He scowls at her but then Ice King grabs his shoulder and glares at him. Daruias rolls his eyes and says” What now Princess?” you could tell there was anger behind his teeth.
“ well we can-” she hits a string that traps her in a coral. A blow dart hits Daruias and Marina making them drift off. Then one flies towards Ice King but he dodges. He turns to see a creature like what they all turned into. He was so shocked that he couldn’t dodge another blow dart coming from his left.
