Meet Vincent
I am an 8th grader at Brier Terrace Middle School. I have a dog and I live with my parents. I attended this school last year aswell. I only speak english but i am learning to speak a few languges.
Why I Joined Journalism
I joined journalism because I enjoyed it last year. I really like the energy in journalism and how throughout the school year a class full of semi-strangers turns into family/friends. It is a really nice enviorment for learning. The skills we learn in journalism can help in many ways. I personally really enjoy writing and learning about psychology so jounalism helps a lot.
How I will represent my community
I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and I also relate to a lot of teenagers. I will write about my struggles and I will make my writing enjoyable and relatable. I will do a mix of factual and opinionated writing! I may also post art about certain topics people may relate to. I will speak up about problems people may be facing.
