Sicily’s Book Corner Volume #3
Sicily’s Book Corner
Hello! Welcome back to the 3rd volume of Sicily’s Book Corner! I know I haven’t done one of these articles in a while and I’m sorry about that. But I’m back and this article contains some relatively new books. Without further ado, let’s get into the book review!
Spy School at Sea, Spy School Book 9
Author: Stuart Gibbs
Amazon star reviews say that this book is 4.8 stars out of 5. I agree with this rating completely, I think the book is a great addition to the Spy School series. This book has twists and turns at every corner and it made me laugh several times. Since I won’t spoil anything all I’m going to say is that there was even one time it had me really worried for the main characters. This book is a great spy book that’s appropriate for all ages. The ending made me really happy and relieved, if you want to find out why I guess you’ll just have to read the book.
Minecraft: The Voyage: An Official Minecraft Novel
Author: Jason Fry
Amazon star reviews say that this book is 4.8 stars out of 5. I don’t agree with this rating because I think that at most it’s 4 stars. The way the author adapted the Minecaft game and turned it into a world was really cool. The world is more realistic and less overpowered. What I mean is, in the game even if you’re in survival mode and you die you can keep respawning. The world in the story doesn’t have that and makes it so that once someone dies, they stay dead. So yeah, the overall world-building is pretty cool. I also like the characters and character development. The main character, Stax, goes through some pretty major character development. The other characters are funny and interesting too. The only reason why I rated the book the way I did is because it’s a bit boring. It has a good plot but it’s not fast paced and it’s one of those books where the main character has one goal that they want to complete throughout the book and as they try to complete it they have different experiences and adventures. If you like those types of books I think you’ll like this one. I encourage everyone to give it a try even if you think you won’t like it.
Big Shot, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book 16
Author: Jeff Kinney
Amazon star reviews say that this book is 4.9 stars out of 5. I agree with this review. Most of you who read this will have probably read one of the books in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series or you’ve at least heard of them. Regardless of which one you are I hope you’ll give this book a try. This is the latest book in the series and it’s just as good as the rest of them. Greg tries sports but he’s terrible at them and the entire book is just him trying to get through the sports season so he’ll be able to quit sports forever. Anyone who’s bad at sports will definitely sympathize with Greg. This book is hilarious, just like all the other books in this series. Since it’s a graphic novel it’s a pretty short read and I think you’ll enjoy it.
Well, this is the end of my article. I really hope you enjoyed it and I hope this gave you some new books to read. Feel free to comment what your favorite part in a book is. Also, if you have any book recommendations I would be glad to hear them! See you in the next article! Bye!

I love that you are willing to share your thoughts about the books, even if it disagrees with other book reviews. You make the audience feel like they should go out and read the books for themselves.
