Keeping Our School Clean One Pencil At A Time

Keeping Our School Clean One Pencil At A Time

Students from Ms. Hampshire’s class are contributing to our school community by going around, and picking up pencils around the school. They’ve found around 60 pencils so far and there’s no doubt they will continue finding more. One of Ms. Hampshire’s students says “We started collecting pencils to help out, because there’s too many pencils around the school so we might as well just pick them up.”

These students are helping out a lot by themselves, but it would be way more efficient if more students would participate in picking up the pencils that litter our school campus. “If you see a pencil, even if it’s broken or anything like that, just pick it up and throw it away or something.” Says a student from Ms. Hampshire’s class.

It’s really cool that Ms. Hampshire’s class is doing that! We should all pitch in to help clean up our school.
