SOMETHING ABOUT ME!
My name is Isabela Rowe-Parker. I am part of journalism at Brier Terrace Middle School. I love dogs and cats and other animals. I used to have six birds as pets. They were parakeets.
WHY I JOINED JOURNALISM
I love writing and being creative; it's what I am drawn to in my free time. Journalism seemed like the perfect opportunity to channel my passion for writing into something useful and fun. My friends told me that the journalism community was a very social and accepting place. I've been writing narrative stories since I was little, and I still do it whenever I can.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IN JOURNALISM
I'm looking forward to building community with my fellow students and working on improving my creative skills. I know that this will be so fun to participate in this year and I'm really glad I joined.
I really want to do writing and art the most. I do a lot of drawing and writing and reading so it's good that I have this opportunity to work on those things.
