Chapter 3

                                                                                Past and Current Collide

Ice King has made it out of the ice and snow-covered mountain and is now in a small little forest. So small that he already could see the end. He planned on going to get the water elemental. She was the ice king’s best friend but it has been a long time since he has seen her. Wait, what’s this feeling? Says Ice King. He turns to see a big building made of glass and White Roman stone. 

Oh, it’s the Elemental Graveyard! Says Ice King.

Ice King melts his horse and runs to the graveyard. He opens the door to see a hallway with pictures of previous elementals and their weapons. Then he spots a meditating old man. “Master!” Says Ice King with a happier voice than usual. 

Huh? Wait, ice king? Says the old man. When they run at each other, the ice king summons an ice gauntlet and the old man makes his fist gain energy around it and soon their fists collide creating a shockwave. Then they pull their fists back and hug “You haven’t lost your touch” says the old man. 

“Neither have you yang ” says Ice King. Then they both laugh in sync but then the ice king’s eyes drift towards a sad sight. 

“Ice king? What’s…..wrong,” says Yang as he sees Ice kings gaze at one of the memorials 

“It’s Him Isn’t it” says Ice King with a little bit of shaking in his voice 

“Your…..Father?” says yang 

“Yes….it is says Ice King he walks up to the memorial and grazes his hand across the greatsword in his memorial

“I am sorry you lost him before you could meet him,” says Yang

¨ It’s…..fine. You can´t be sad when you literally never met them” he says as he walks away 

“ Hey ullr it’s” BOOM! A giant explosion comes from the end of the hall¨ ok¨ yang finishes. They look down the hall and see a figure in a black cloak surrounded by rubble.

¨Hello¨says the figure.

¨ Hey you! Fix that hole in the roof NOW! Says Yang with the most anger Ullr has ever seen 

¨Hey calm down it’s not like you will live past this moment¨ says the man.

¨HEY DON´T TALK TO MY MASTER LIKE THAT says Ice King while sliding in front of Yang while summoning his sword

¨öh your angry well then let’s fight¨ says the man while summoning a dark aura around his fists

¨i am done!¨” says Yang he jumps and launches two black and white dragons they hit the man but he blocks it then Ullr slides and tries to slash the man but the man punches him which makes him hit a memorial as his sword flies out of his hand ice king can barely open his eyes but all he can make out is white and black flashes of light

Ice King turns to see that his dad’s memorial is the one he ran into. He tries to lift the sword but it has magic which makes only worthy people wield it. He looks again and he pities. Pities himself. The world and…His dad. He wishes he was there, maybe the fire king and I would have a better relationship and I wouldn’t have my powers. Would I even be alive? That angers ullr that would mean he never would meet Ice Queen or have Glimmer. But he shakes his head and takes that anger Lifts the sword! 

He looks and sees a glowing blue hand holding the handle too; it was his father’s hand! His father looks at the ice king’s face and says the world I left is in good hands and….. I believe in you ̈ he says as he disappears. Ice King looks back at the fight and is happy not mad, not sad happy but it’s time to destroy this vermin. He lunges at the man and slashes at him but the man swiftly dodges the attack. “You can’t get me, ice boy,” says the man mockingly.

“But I can,” says Yang from behind the man. The man turns around and they clash hands. But then, Ice King swings at the man but dodges again then appears behind the yang and is about to attack but then he can’t feel his legs. He looks down and he has been cut in half. With all of his strength, he looks behind to see Ice King but he looks forward again then he sees Ice King again but he disintegrates. 

“You TRICKSTER,” says the man.

“ well maybe I’m just better,” says Ice King 

“YOU-” says the man as he lunges at Ice King. Then Ice King slashes him into many tiny skin and bone flakes. Ice King looks down and says” One down”.

“What did you just say?” says the old man

“ The whole reason I am here is because I was on a mission and stumbled across the graveyard and was hunting people like that man but now I will leave,” says Ice King as the sword he was holding slowly gets heavier and heavier in his hands and soon it drops. He sighs and says” I am weak, I can’t even fight the first general I was useless, if I can’t fight how can I get any elementals”.

“It’s fine, you’re probably just rusty,” says Yang. 

Ice King walks to the door and says “Maybe but…… I must go” he opens the door and walks out leaving the old man alone again
